BS in Artificial Intelligence and Design
The BS in Artificial Intelligence and Design combined major (Khoury College and the College of Arts, Media and Design) pairs a technical AI degree with a practice-based design discipline, exploring how intelligent systems shape the way we live. You’ll study AI’s mathematical foundations, machine learning, large-scale data storage and retrieval, and intelligent systems design. Information designers then translate these systems’ outputs into visual forms that make complex knowledge more accessible — work grounded in both computational rigor and design ethics.

This program will equip you with the skills to pursue a range of careers that leverage both AI and design skills, including:
- AI/ML engineer
- Human–AI interaction designer
- AI product designer
- Information visualization engineer
- Conversational AI designer
- Data visualization engineer

In this program, you’ll learn to:
