BS in Computer Science and Politics, Philosophy, and Economics
The BS in Computer Science and Politics, Philosophy, and Economics is a combined major (Khoury College and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities) that will prepare you with the diverse perspectives and knowledge that are indispensable in our increasingly interconnected world. With an understanding of three important frameworks from the humanistic social sciences, as well as a foundation in computer science, you will be ready to address the kinds of complex global challenges that future leaders will face.

This program will prepare you with a diverse skill set at the intersection of multiple fields, opening the doors to a wide range of exciting career prospects. Possible career paths include:

Through co-op experiences, you will have opportunities to apply your skills and build connections in industry settings. Recent co-ops include:

In this program, you’ll learn to:
- Apply design principles in the construction of software systems of varying complexity.
- Use current techniques, skills, and tools necessary for effective and secure computing practice.
- Apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and computer science theory in the modeling and design of computer-based systems in a way that demonstrates comprehension of the tradeoffs involved in design choices.
