BS in Artificial Intelligence and Economics
The BS in Artificial Intelligence and Economics combined major (Khoury College and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities) integrates fundamental economics principles with a strong foundation in machine learning, data systems, and intelligent computing — preparing you to apply AI to solve complex issues in industry, government, and human behavior. You’ll learn to build and work with AI-driven systems in their various forms, equipping you with the skills you need to analyze economic trends, develop data-informed models, make intelligent decisions at scale, and succeed in finance, business, government, and more.

In this program, you’ll learn to:
- Apply design principles in the construction of software systems of varying complexity.
- Use current techniques, skills, and tools necessary for effective and secure computing practice.
- Apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and computer science theory in the modeling and design of computer-based systems in a way that demonstrates comprehension of the tradeoffs involved in design choices.
