Yiming Xie is a doctoral student at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, advised by Huaizu Jiang. His research focuses on computer vision and machine learning, specifically 3D understanding and reconstruction with a hybrid of geometric and learning-based approaches.
Before joining Northeastern’s PhD program in 2021, Xie received his bachelor’s in Information Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in China. His research has been published in conferences such as CVPR 2021 and ICCV 2021.
